NOVI — Oakland Community College theater students had a rare opportunity to debut a brand-new musical before it ever hits Broadway.

COMMERCE TOWNSHIP — Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township has undergone a transformation and is now filled with the holiday spirit. The annual “Aurora Winter Wonderland” interactive light show opened Nov. 15 and will be open on Thursday and Friday nights through Dec. 29.

NOVI — The need for college funding resulted in one local doctor joining the U.S. Navy Reserve, but it was the love for country that he developed while serving that caused him to stay in the Reserve for 34 years, during which time he was deployed in two wars, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and he held two of the highest offices that a family medical physician can hold in the Reserve.

NOVI — A section of Interstate 96 was closed for nearly five hours Oct. 10 after a truck hauling gravel hit a large freeway sign and spilled gravel across the highway.
